Does Remedy Church have a college ministry?

Yes! We are thankful that God continues to send college students our way from surrounding campuses in Ellis county.

Vision and Goals

Remedy college ministry aims to equip and support college students in the disciple-making mission that each of us is called to. This includes a collective pursuit of a deeper love for Jesus in a gospel community and a distinct focus on reaching the lost, both locally and among the nations.

College is a unique time in life, and the rhythms of our college ministry seek to reflect this, providing structure, but allowing for the flexibility that is needed for a student’s schedule.

Week Night Bible Study

Our students meet weekly to study the Bible together and pray for the lost. Where and when rotates, and it you want to know more please contact Ethan Hosiner (214.949.2595).

College Dinner and Prayer

We have a college dinner twice a month hosted by families within our church family on Sunday nights. College dinners are strategically low-pressure environments that provide a place for students to invite their friends who do or don’t know Jesus. Students and the host family eat, fellowship, and pray together. To find out when our next one is, or if you would like to host college dinner and prayer, please contact Colton Oder (214-632-0072).

Going to the Nations

One of our prayers for Remedy College is that God would raise up missionaries from among our students. We aim to provide regular opportunities for students to go on short-term trips, to both see and serve in the work that God is doing among the nations.

Remedy Worship Gatherings (Sundays @ 10:30am)

Our students consistently gather with the Remedy Church family for worship through song, corporate prayer, and the proclamation of God’s word through the Scriptures.

If you have questions, or would like additional information about college ministry at Remedy, please contact Ethan Hosiner (214.949.2595).

Leadership

Colton and Katie Oder love connecting and spending time with college students. The Oders help coordinate college dinners as well as other activities through the Fall and Spring semesters.

Ethan Hosiner is currently a college student at Criswell College and also serves as a ministry intern at Remedy Church. He coordinates and leads the weekly college Bible study.
