Join us for Picnic in the Park!

Picnic in the Park is a good, old-fashioned picnic in Getzendaner Park immediately following the 4th of July parade. This event is part of the city’s 4th of July Crape Myrtle Festival activities and is sponsored by Remedy Church.

There will be hot dogs, bottled water, and snow cones, along with games and activities for the family. Everything is free for the whole family! There will be seating available around picnic tables, but feel free to bring blankets or chairs, too. This year we are introducing a wiffle ball home run derby!
